Onsite Desktop Support Engineer – IT

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, customer‑focused Onsite Desktop Support Engineer to deliver technical assistance to end users in an enterprise environment. The role involves troubleshooting Windows devices, managing hardware and software assets, and ensuring high‑quality service within agreed SLA targets.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite desktop and end‑user support for Windows 10/11 devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, printers, scanners and peripherals.
• Perform hardware replacements, upgrades and break/fix activities.
• Support Microsoft Office 365, Outlook and Teams.
• Manage user accounts, passwords and permissions via Active Directory.
• Deploy software and OS updates using SCCM and Intune.
• Record, track and resolve incidents in ServiceNow or a similar ITSM tool.
• Execute IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) tasks.
• Maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions and asset inventory.
• Apply and audit asset tags and labels, conduct periodic inventory audits.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in desktop or end‑user IT support.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to prioritize multiple requests.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Required skills

• Windows 10/11 administration and troubleshooting.
• Microsoft Office 365, Outlook and Teams.
• Active Directory account management.
• Microsoft SCCM and Microsoft Intune deployment.
• ServiceNow or comparable ticketing system.
• Hardware troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals.
• IT asset management, tagging and inventory control.
