Onsite IT Deskside Technician (Contract-to-Hire)

About the role

Medina Network Technologies is seeking an Onsite Deskside Support Technician for a Fortune 500 electronics manufacturer in North Dallas. This is a 12‑month contract‑to‑hire position, offering a stable, single‑site environment where you will be the first point of contact for all IT needs of the corporate staff.

Key responsibilities

• Provide walk‑up and dispatched support for Windows 10/11 laptops, including imaging, re‑imaging, driver updates, patching, and OS troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint), VPN clients, and MFA re‑enrollments.
• Perform hardware swaps – laptops, docking stations, monitors, peripherals, and printers – and resolve basic printer issues.
• Execute Moves, Adds, Changes (MAC‑D) for new‑hire provisioning, separations, and workstation relocations.
• Carry out basic Active Directory/Entra ID and Intune tasks such as password resets, group membership changes, device compliance, and Autopilot enrollment.
• Coordinate OEM warranty tickets (Dell, HP, Lenovo) for onsite parts replacement.
• Tag assets, reconcile inventory, manage endpoint lifecycle, and document every ticket with clear escalation when needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of hands‑on desktop/deskside support in a corporate Windows environment.
• Strong communication and professional demeanor suitable for a Fortune 500 office.
• Ability to work independently on‑site, own a ticket queue, and collaborate with remote support teams.
