On‑site IT Support Specialist

About the role

HCLTech is seeking an experienced on‑site IT Support Specialist to join its Desktop Support team. The role involves delivering 24x5 technical assistance across multiple IT locations, handling break‑and‑fix, IMAC/D activities, preventive maintenance, and VIP user support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide primary desktop support for Windows OS, Mobile Device Management, video‑conferencing systems, and L3 applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, documenting cases in the ITSM system.
• Perform preventive maintenance, PC refreshes, and support meeting‑room equipment.
• Assist with server/network “hands‑on” tasks and mobile device management.
• Follow critical incident processes and contribute to the Customer Knowledge Base.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of combined experience supporting desktop and mobile technologies.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work independently on‑site.
