Operations Accounting Specialist I

About the role

The Operations Accounting Specialist I is responsible for end‑to‑end accounting tasks that support project financials, vendor relationships, and internal proposals. You will work closely with project managers, procurement, and field engineers to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and expenses.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable for the division, seeking early‑payment discounts and optimizing working capital.
• Match invoices to purchase orders, verify budget alignment, and process them in D365.
• Clear rejected invoice queues daily and collaborate with vendors and project managers to resolve issues.
• Serve as the Concur system expert, managing assignments and vendor inquiries.
• Input new proposals into D365, set up budgets, forecasts, and cost transfers.
• Maintain electronic filing of all AP transactions for audit compliance.
• Manage shared inboxes, distribute invoices and credit memos, and process items through Dooap and D365.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication with vendors, project teams, and internal business units.
• Attention to detail and ability to resolve discrepancies promptly.

Required skills

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) proficiency.
• Concur expense management system expertise.
• Familiarity with Dooap invoice processing.
