Operations Manager

About the role

McCormick is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a key function within its Cuautitlán plant. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will provide strategic direction, drive continuous improvement, and ensure the plant meets its performance, quality, and safety goals.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve all key performance indicators, developing action plans to meet targets.
• Ensure quality, reliability, safety, sanitation, and fit‑for‑use standards are consistently met.
• Plan and oversee technological, preventive‑maintenance, and engineering improvements to reduce cost per unit and increase operational efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with corporate policies, regional and local regulations, and sustainability initiatives.
• Lead and develop direct reports, fostering a high‑performance culture across the function.
• Collaborate with other department leaders to align strategies and achieve plant‑wide objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operations leadership within a manufacturing or supply‑chain environment.
• Ability to manage cross‑functional teams and drive results through people development.
• Strong understanding of operational concepts and basic knowledge of related functional areas.
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
