Operations Manager

About the role

McCormick is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a key function at its Cuautitlán plant in Mexico. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will provide strategic leadership, drive continuous improvement, and ensure the plant meets quality, safety, and performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve key performance indicators, developing action plans to meet targets across quality, reliability, safety, and sanitation.
• Plan and oversee technological, preventive maintenance, and engineering improvements to enhance cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, local regulations, and sustainability initiatives.
• Lead and develop department managers and staff, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Collaborate with the facility leadership team to align strategies and achieve overall plant goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing operations within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong leadership and people‑development skills, with the ability to manage direct reports.
• Comprehensive understanding of functional areas such as manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering.
• Ability to analyze cross‑functional issues and drive solutions that impact multiple departments.
