Operations Manager, Last Mile Operations

About the role

Amazon is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a Delivery Station that handles over 70,000 packages daily. The role is responsible for ensuring on‑time, safe, and cost‑effective last‑mile delivery to customers in a 24/7 environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of a high‑volume Delivery Station, overseeing on‑the‑road execution with Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) and drivers.
• Drive operational goals and metrics, presenting performance data to senior leadership.
• Hire, develop, and retain a team of 7 managers and more than 200 associates.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners such as Transport & Sortation, Finance, Loss Prevention, IT, HR, ACES, and Engineering.
• Ensure safety standards, monitor service levels, and implement cost‑saving projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large, complex logistics or delivery operations.
• Strong ability to solve problems, close performance gaps, and make data‑driven decisions.
• Demonstrated talent for building high‑performing teams and fostering a culture of safety.
