OT Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

ETAP is looking for a technically versatile OT Infrastructure Engineer to become the operational backbone of its Global Support group in Mexico City. The role sits at the intersection of IT systems administration and operational technology, focusing on building and managing a virtual lab environment that mirrors customer and project systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain a virtual lab using VMware or Hyper‑V that replicates ETAP solution configurations (SCADA, PSMS, EMS, Digital Twin).
• Own the lab environment, including VM template management, version control, capacity planning, and availability.
• Reproduce customer incidents in the lab to accelerate root‑cause analysis before escalation.
• Troubleshoot configuration‑level issues across replicated environments, including configuration files, MongoDB instances, SQL Server databases, and Windows Server services.
• Replicate customer network topologies (IP schemes, VLANs, communication settings) to ensure accurate incident reproduction.
• Provide tailored replicated environments to support Global Support Engineers.

Required profile

• Mid‑level professional comfortable owning a technical environment independently.
• Methodical troubleshooting approach with strong curiosity about complex software behavior.
• Ability to work collaboratively with global support teams and technical experts.
• Willingness to develop deep knowledge of ETAP’s Real‑Time enterprise platform through mentorship.
