Packaging Designer – Creative Agency

About the role

We are seeking a Packaging Designer to join our Mexico City creative hub within Favorite Child, a dynamic design agency that blends boutique charm with global expertise. The role focuses on translating creative concepts into production‑ready packaging artwork for a variety of brands, ensuring consistency with brand standards and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop accurate, high‑quality packaging designs that follow brand guidelines and client specifications.
• Adapt master design concepts into multiple packaging formats, maintaining visual consistency across typography, layout and material specifications.
• Prepare pre‑press files and digital mechanical art ready for production, reworking and resizing existing assets as needed.
• Collaborate closely with design, account and project management teams, and attend client meetings when required.
• Deliver creative assets on time and within budget while meeting established quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in packaging design and adaptation within an agency or design‑firm environment.
• Strong team player who is resourceful, accountable and able to navigate ambiguity.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken, with excellent communication skills.
• Proactive problem‑solver who can pivot quickly to meet changing project demands.
