Penetration Tester

About the role

Bishop Fox is looking for an experienced Penetration Tester to join its offensive security team. You will work on a variety of modern application and infrastructure assessments for Fortune‑100 clients, helping them identify and remediate real‑world security weaknesses.

Key responsibilities

• Perform hands‑on security testing of cloud‑native, mobile, backend and AI‑enabled applications.
• Analyze application behavior, review source code, and craft realistic exploitation scenarios.
• Validate security controls across modern architectures and provide actionable remediation guidance.
• Participate in the full engagement lifecycle: scoping, test planning, execution, reporting and client presentations.
• Collaborate with US‑based and international teams to deliver high‑quality assessments.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in application security assessments, penetration testing or offensive security engagements.
• Strong offensive security mindset with deep technical understanding of modern applications, cloud platforms, APIs, mobile apps and emerging technologies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to convey complex findings to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Adaptability to quickly learn new technologies and environments.
