Performance Controller / Cost Accountant

About the role

LEONI is looking for a Performance Controller / Cost Accountant to join its finance team. The professional will be responsible for establishing and maintaining standard costs, analysing cost structures and providing insights that support budgeting, forecasting and operational performance across the company’s automotive and energy‑data solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Set and maintain standard costs for manufactured goods and review cost standards for accurate financial reporting.
• Analyse administration, labour and burden costs and produce variance and bridge analyses against budgets.
• Perform account reconciliations, inventory revaluation and cost‑of‑goods‑sold analysis.
• Prepare material forecasts using historical trends and analytical data.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing reports and documenting findings.
• Provide costing recommendations based on financial and operational data to improve profitability.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in cost accounting, performance control or financial analysis.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus.
• CPA or equivalent certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for complex spreadsheets and data analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Proficiency in cost accounting principles, variance analysis and financial modeling.
• Ability to prepare forecasts and perform cost‑volume‑profit analysis.
