Planeador de Materiales

About the role

As a Materials Planner you will ensure that the right materials are available at the right time, quantity and cost to support uninterrupted internal production. You will work closely with suppliers, internal customers and logistics teams to align material flow with the production plan while respecting inventory policies.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze demand forecasts and send order predictions to suppliers according to customer specifications.
• Track in‑transit material using invoice confirmation, part numbers and purchase orders, coordinating with the traffic department to guarantee timely delivery.
• Define optimal inventory levels and reorder points to avoid excess stock and shortages, aligning costs with material targets.
• Maintain accurate material master data, including supplier location and ABC classification, to support proper planning.
• Update MRP parameters whenever a new production order is released, following business unit requirements.
• Place orders based on established lead times from purchasing and sister plants to ensure continuous supply.
• Promote safety, health, quality and environmental protection in line with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and applicable standards.

Required profile

• Experience with SAP (PRA) or similar ERP systems.
• Knowledge of customs regulations and import traffic procedures.
• Proven ability to manage critical issues with internal customers and suppliers.
• Understanding of MRP concepts for component planning.
• Strong inventory management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
