Planner II – Demand & Production Planning

About the role

The Planner II will act as the primary customer interface for demand planning and shipment information. You will develop feasible operational plans, own their execution, and continuously improve planning metrics to ensure customer satisfaction and protect Jabil’s liability.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business units and customers to create a joint demand plan following the Demand Management Process.
• Develop a Master Schedule by analysing material and capacity requirements and load it into Jabil’s ERP system.
• Maintain a realistic production plan and work closely with operations to achieve successful execution.
• Generate revenue forecasts, monitor actual performance and initiate corrective actions when targets are at risk.
• Track planning metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to company security policies and procedural rules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 1‑2 years of materials‑related experience (or Master’s degree without experience).
• Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in basic algebra, geometry and quantitative calculations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to interpret technical documents, safety rules and procedural manuals.

Required skills

• Thorough knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
• Advanced PC skills, including familiarity with Jabil’s software packages.
• Proficiency in logistics and production planning concepts.
