Plant Controller

About the role

The Plant Controller is a key Finance Business Partner who links plant operations with the broader business strategy. This role goes beyond traditional reporting by delivering actionable financial insights, influencing decisions, and ensuring that production performance aligns with financial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial analysis and reporting for the plant, covering cost control, forecasting, and performance tracking.
• Translate operational metrics into financial insights that support strategic decision‑making.
• Participate in planning cycles such as S&OP, providing financial perspectives on capacity, revenue, and demand scenarios.
• Act as a strategic challenger to plant leadership, questioning assumptions and driving data‑based decisions.
• Partner with Operations, Commercial, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Identify opportunities to improve plant efficiency, optimize costs, and enhance overall financial performance.
• Convert financial data into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Plant Controller or in a similar finance role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of plant operations and production processes.
• Excellent communication and financial storytelling abilities.
• Strategic thinking, business acumen, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
