Primary English Teacher

About the role

Queen Mary School México is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Primary English Teacher for its campus in Colonia Cuauhtémoc, CDMX. The teacher will design and deliver engaging English lessons that develop language proficiency, literacy, and critical thinking for primary‑grade students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement lesson plans aligned with the school’s constructivist, student‑centered model.
• Facilitate collaborative, interactive classroom activities using games, technology, and project‑based learning.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to learners and families.
• Maintain clear, respectful communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
• Manage classroom behavior and contribute to the school’s socio‑emotional objectives.

Required profile

• Strong English teaching experience at the primary level.
• Ability to design structured, student‑centered learning experiences.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with students, families, and staff.
• Relevant degree in Education, English, or a related field; teaching certification for primary education is highly beneficial.
• Experience with constructivist methodologies, classroom technology, and inclusive practices is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
