Principal-Level Architect – Industrial & Advanced Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a senior‑level architect with deep experience in industrial and advanced manufacturing design. The role involves leading technically demanding projects, mentoring a multidisciplinary team, and acting as a trusted design advisor to key clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architectural design from schematic design through construction administration on large‑scale industrial projects.
• Direct multi‑discipline teams, including engineers and consultants, to deliver on schedule and budget.
• Facilitate programming workshops, site evaluations, and executive client presentations.
• Own all BIM deliverables in Autodesk Revit, ensuring model accuracy, coordination, and compliance with the BIM Execution Plan.
• Set and enforce project‑level BIM standards, conduct clash detection, and coordinate federated models with MEP and structural teams.
• Apply knowledge of process flow, material handling, utility infrastructure, and equipment integration to design heavy‑industrial, precision‑assembly, warehousing, distribution, and process‑manufacturing environments.
• Ensure compliance with IBC, OSHA, NFPA, and local zoning requirements.
• Support business development through proposal preparation, RFP responses, and client relationship cultivation.

Required profile

• Professional architecture degree from an accredited institution.
• Active Registered Architect (RA) licensure.
• 10+ years of progressive architectural experience, primarily in industrial or manufacturing facilities.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating industrial and/or manufacturing project work.
