Privacy Manager

About the role

Sezzle is building a company‑wide privacy program based on the NIST Privacy Framework. As the Privacy Manager you will turn a pre‑defined roadmap into a fully operating program that safeguards user data while enabling rapid product development across the US and Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the NIST Privacy Framework from current to target state, including gap analysis, action planning and ongoing monitoring.
• Conduct privacy risk assessments and Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) for new products, features and third‑party vendors.
• Maintain the enterprise data map and manage consumer‑rights processes.
• Develop and enforce de‑identification standards and privacy review workflows.
• Coordinate governance rhythms to keep the privacy program aligned with US state, federal and Canadian privacy laws.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with high emotional intelligence.
• Experience building or scaling privacy programs in fast‑moving technology environments.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with product, engineering and legal teams.
