Process Technician

About the role

Allient Inc. is seeking a Process Technician to support production processes at its Reynosa facility. You will ensure operational continuity, maintain product quality, and drive continuous improvement of equipment and manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform product changeovers and equipment setup, adjusting process parameters to meet specifications.
• Maintain and control error‑proofing devices (Poka‑Yokes) and validate changeovers with measurement equipment.
• Propose and implement equipment and process improvements.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Maintain TPM databases and support continuous‑improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.

Required profile

• Technical degree in Mechatronics, Electromechanical Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing processes, production lines, or industrial maintenance.
• Availability for overtime or rotating shifts.

Required skills

• Experience with servo, pneumatic, and hydraulic presses.
• Familiarity with Juki selective soldering systems.
• Knowledge of Cognex and Keyence vision systems.
• Ability to perform equipment setup, adjustments, and product changeovers.
• Understanding of electrical control systems and ability to read electrical and pneumatic schematics.
• Knowledge of PLC programming, especially Allen‑Bradley PanelView (Series 5000).
• Basic LabVIEW proficiency.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and root‑cause analysis.
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing tools such as 5S, TPM, Kaizen, SPC, and DMAIC.
