Process Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Process Technician who will perform a range of technical duties in a manufacturing environment. The role involves executing experimental procedures, collecting and analysing process data, and supporting engineers in resolving customer complaints and improving yields.

Key responsibilities

• Train and coach new engineering personnel on equipment and processes.
• Interpret equipment data to diagnose and solve process issues.
• Collaborate with product‑innovation and cost‑reduction teams.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and lead repairs or upgrades.
• Assist engineers in testing, integrating and qualifying new equipment.
• Participate in projects aimed at reducing downtime, defects and costs while increasing yields.
• Guide front‑line production staff to follow safety, health, SOP and environmental standards.
• Contribute to project planning by identifying resources and realistic timelines.
• Help develop new processes or machines and author related documentation.

Required profile

• Associate degree in a technical field or strong math/science background.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and experience reading blueprints or technical drawings.
• Previous experience in technician or operator roles that provide deep understanding of equipment and processes.
• Leadership experience in guiding trades or contract personnel is a plus.
