Procurement Manager – Indirect Materials (Onsite)

About the role

Collins Aerospace is looking for a Procurement Manager to lead the Procure‑to‑Pay process for indirect materials in its Mexicali facility. The role focuses on ensuring timely purchasing, cost‑effective supplier solutions and compliance with company policies while supporting aerospace operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of indirect material suppliers, placing demand, confirming commitments and monitoring on‑time delivery.
• Create and process RFQs, purchase orders and maintain supplier portal activities.
• Analyze contract performance, enforce compliance and drive supplier improvement initiatives.
• Identify and mitigate supply‑chain risks, resolve critical shortages and develop delivery improvement plans.
• Collaborate with business units to address Supplier Risk Index (SRI), contractual data (CAD) and failure analysis indicators (FAI).
• Lead cross‑functional projects, develop Line of Balance (LOB) and Work‑in‑Progress trackers, and implement root‑cause solutions for overdue deliveries.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, International Business, Industrial Engineering, Logistics or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of procurement experience (or 5 years with an advanced degree).
• At least 5 years managing suppliers, improving performance and mitigating supply‑chain risks.
• Proven ability to work with internal stakeholders and external suppliers in a fast‑paced aerospace environment.

Required skills

• SAP procurement module (or equivalent ERP).
• Experience with Oracle, Epicor, PeopleSoft, APEX or PRISM systems.
• Strong knowledge of RFQ processes and supplier management tools.
