Product Coordinator

About the role

The Product Coordinator will drive all manufacturing engineering activities for assigned products, ensuring smooth start‑ups and continuous improvement across the product lifecycle. This role acts as the central hub between Plant, Development, Sales, and the Customer to coordinate launches, changes, and cost‑reduction initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate new product and line launches with cross‑functional teams using Project Management and APQP methods.
• Manage capacity planning, line flexibility, and MAE approval processes.
• Ensure compliance with quality gates, PFMEA, DFMEA, control plans, and Bosch Production System requirements.
• Lead trial runs, product validation, and run‑at‑rate events to meet customer milestones.
• Organise internal and external audits for line and product release.
• Handle product cancellations, engineering changes (ECR), and process changes (PCR).
• Drive cost‑reduction (RPP) activities, track savings, and support alternative material procurement.
• Facilitate workshops, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide manufacturing inputs for cost estimations and monitor KPIs during ramp‑up and stabilization phases.
