Product Development Developer

About the role

Join Mondelēz International’s product development team in Mexico and help shape the future of snacking. You will work within a cross‑functional environment to deliver research, development and quality (RDQ) activities that bring new products to market, maintain existing portfolios, and drive productivity projects.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and execute RDQ projects in line with marketing, manufacturing and regulatory requirements.
• Plan and conduct pilot‑plant and factory trials following Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and HACCP standards.
• Perform product shelf‑life testing, design for quality, and prepare consumer tests.
• Write technical reports, analyse results, and formulate conclusions and recommendations.
• Create and maintain consumer‑led product specifications.

Required profile

• Degree in food science, engineering or a related field, preferably within a fast‑moving consumer goods environment.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team under manager guidance.
• Strong problem‑identification skills and proactive solution implementation.
• Effective verbal and written communication, including technical writing.
• Consumer‑focused mindset throughout development activities.
