Product Engineer (Mechanical Design)

About the role

Siemens Global Business Services is seeking a Product Engineer (Mechanical) to support one of its largest manufacturing facilities in the United States. The role involves collaborating with global engineering teams to develop, improve, and support mechanical components used in critical electrical infrastructure solutions. You will contribute to new product development and product enhancement projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, engineering drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Support new product development initiatives and product enhancement projects.
• Evaluate design feasibility and provide technical recommendations to cross‑functional teams.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to solve product‑related challenges and improve performance.
• Participate in design reviews, testing activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to standardization efforts to improve manufacturability, quality, and efficiency.
• Support engineering documentation and product lifecycle activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in mechanical design, product development, or engineering projects.
• Experience using CAD tools such as Creo or ProE.
• Understanding of engineering drawings, assemblies, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Advanced English communication skills.
