Product & Packaging Development Specialist

About the role

KITSCH is looking for a Product & Packaging Development Specialist to own and execute product and packaging development operations for assigned consumables. The role ensures clear supplier communication, accurate documentation, and cross‑functional alignment from brief to launch.

Key responsibilities

• Handle standard supplier communications within one business day, track replies, assign owners, and maintain due dates.
• Document key decisions and action items within 24 hours and drive follow‑up until closure.
• Organize, version, and upload PD Drive files within two business days; create and update product fact sheets on schedule.
• Proof line sheets, tech packs, and artwork for accuracy before routing and endorse approvals to factories.
• Maintain core consumables trackers (SKUs, cost sheets, BOM) and relay pricing updates and cost negotiations.
• Request regulatory documents, perform compliance checks, and escalate risks to avoid post‑production failures.
• Deliver competitor and cost analyses, post‑launch analyses, and set up consumer studies in Sourcerie or community testing platforms.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in product development, packaging, or a related role within consumer goods, beauty, or personal care.
• Strong operational execution skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast‑paced environment.
