Program Project Manager – Automotive Development

About the role

Pasubio Mexico is seeking a Program Project Manager to lead the development and industrialization of new automotive programs, from customer requirements through to Start of Production (SOP). The role bridges the customer and internal teams, ensuring the right product is delivered with the right quality, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Lead new product development and industrialization projects from quotation and feasibility analysis through SOP.
• Act as the primary customer contact, aligning technical requirements, milestones, timing and deliverables.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams across Engineering, Industrialization, Operations, Quality, Purchasing, Supply Chain and Production.
• Build and manage project plans, timelines, risks, mitigation actions and escalation processes.
• Lead internal project reviews and customer progress meetings, ensuring clear communication and timely decisions.
• Translate customer specifications into robust manufacturing and industrialization requirements.
• Support technical problem‑solving during development, validation and launch.
• Organize prototype builds, validation activities, pre‑production trials and production readiness.
• Ensure compliance with customer‑specific requirements, IATF standards and automotive quality processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in program or project management, industrialization or product development within automotive manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Automotive, Materials Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical thinking, structured problem‑solving and results‑driven mindset.
• Advanced English communication skills.
