Project Engineer

About the role

Flowserve is seeking a Junior Project Engineer to lead the engineering activities that translate customer orders into efficient production processes. You will act as the technical liaison between the Order Engineering team, local sites, customers, and global sister sites, ensuring accurate data, timely scheduling, and seamless order release.

Key responsibilities

• Drive, control, and own engineering activities for customer orders.
• Prepare, review, and validate engineering data, Bills of Materials, and manufacturing process information.
• Perform engineering studies, calculations, and analyses related to fluid flow, strength, and thermal loading.
• Coordinate cross‑functional activities with other Flowserve departments and global engineering teams.
• Collaborate with Business Units and GTEC engineers to enhance customer satisfaction and employee engagement.
• Provide logistical, technical, and operational support to local sites, customers, and warranty teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or Engineering Technology.
• 3‑5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Self‑starter attitude with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software for 3D model creation from 2D drawings.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, fluid flow, and material mechanics.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite.
