Project Manager – Industrial Construction Projects

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Project Manager to lead industrial construction projects in Tamaulipas. The role provides full project management services and on‑site construction oversight, acting as the client’s representative to ensure successful delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Support the client Project Manager and oversee the overall construction effort.
• Provide strategic advice at project conception, including procurement recommendations.
• Own contracts and budgets for assigned direct contracts.
• Create and coordinate detailed Project Execution Plans and manage GC PEP activities.
• Proactively manage construction risks and health, safety, and environmental (HES) issues, maintaining the risk register.
• Review design drawings for constructability and support early‑stage design input.
• Prepare and deliver monthly, daily and event reports in collaboration with the Construction Field Representative.
• Coordinate RFI and Submittal processes, ensuring alignment with cost budgets.
• Document meeting minutes for site progress, Owner/Architect/Contractor meetings and other required sessions.
• Assist in safety, QA/QC and labor relations programs to meet IIF and OE objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing industrial construction projects and acting as client representative.
• Strong understanding of contract administration, budgeting and risk management.
• Ability to develop and execute detailed project plans and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting and stakeholder meetings.
