Project Manager

About the role

PHINIA is seeking a Project Manager to lead strategic projects that generate value and align with the company’s sustainability and efficiency goals. The role involves planning, coordinating, and executing product, process, or improvement initiatives within defined timelines and budgets.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate project feasibility and develop detailed implementation plans.
• Directly manage projects such as cost‑reduction initiatives, component relocation, insourcing/outsourcing, product or process changes, and small program launches.
• Monitor and track project progress, conduct follow‑up meetings with multidisciplinary teams, and drive stakeholder communication.
• Measure performance using appropriate tools, assess risks, and mitigate negative impacts.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and report issues to senior management.
• Train functional areas in project‑management practices and manage the full project lifecycle (phase‑in/phase‑out).
• Participate actively in the Annual Physical Inventory.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar project‑management role.
• Strong technical knowledge of project management principles and practices.
