Project Manager

About the role

Flex is seeking a Project Manager to lead medium‑complexity projects that support the design, build, and delivery of innovative products. Based in Guadalajara, you will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure projects meet cost, delivery, and quality targets.

Key responsibilities

• Define project schedule, financial parameters, and technical requirements from initiation through transfer.
• Communicate customer specifications, timelines, and budget constraints to engineers, senior management, and consultants.
• Review daily production schedules, identify issues, and provide technical direction to resolve them.
• Prepare status reports and financial updates, tracking cost control and customer requirements.
• Maintain project documentation, procedures, and deliverables.
• Present technical information to stakeholders and support larger programs.
• Advise junior Project/Product Managers and recommend policy improvements.
• Interact regularly with customers, peer managers, and senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, MBA, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience managing multiple customers or accounts in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong financial acumen with knowledge of P&L, cost control, and budgeting.
• Direct customer‑facing experience and ability to drive project discussions.
• Experience working with global, cross‑functional teams.
• Knowledge of CAPEX projects, investment planning, and risk management.
• Background in launching new operations, facilities, or production lines.
• Technical exposure to mechanical assembly processes.
