Project Manager, Manufacturing

About the role

Joyson Safety Systems is seeking a Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end acquisition projects for new model introductions within its manufacturing network. The role ensures flawless execution by aligning project phases with internal plant processes and global corporate procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Align projects with corporate vision and drive standardization of tools and processes across departments.
• Coordinate internal and external meetings to track project development and monitor action items.
• Lead Level 2 and 3 project tracking and status meetings, ensuring closure of open items.
• Conduct risk analyses, evaluate performance against objectives, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage the Regional ME system, oversee audits, and ensure compliance.
• Control departmental budget, conduct internal audits, and allocate resources efficiently.
• Lead high‑level CapEx projects and provide strategic support in supplier negotiations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience managing acquisition projects for new model introductions.
• Strong analytical skills for risk assessment and performance tracking.
• Experience handling budgets, audits, and high‑value capital projects.
• Ability to work collaboratively across global teams and communicate effectively.
