Project Manager – Medium to Large Projects (Electrification)

About the role

ABB is looking for a Project Manager to lead the execution of medium‑ to large‑size projects within its Electrification Distribution Solutions division in San Luis Potosi. You will ensure that all project activities comply with company procedures, contractual and technical specifications, quality standards, and health, safety and environmental requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the execution of medium‑large projects, ensuring adherence to procedures, contracts, specifications, and milestones.
• Apply best‑practice execution methods and ABB policies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks.
• Monitor and control project financials, including invoicing, costs, expenses, and cash flow.
• Manage contract and claims processes in line with ABB policies.
• Act as the primary contact for customers, handle escalations, and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, or Manufacturing engineering.
• 7+ years of project management experience in the manufacturing or electrification sector.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Valid USA visa (preferred).

Required skills

• Project Management tools and PMI methodology.
• SAP.
• Power BI (preferred).
