Project Manager P1

About the role

Valeo is seeking a Project Manager P1 to lead operational and functional management of assigned automotive projects. You will be responsible for delivering project KPIs, ensuring profitability, quality, and production readiness while coordinating resources and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage OEM/OES projects (components, systems) and ensure achievement of profitability, quality, and production preparation targets.
• Secure and control project resources, drive associated P2 actors, and resolve project issues through escalation processes.
• Validate team activities, propose timing scenarios, and conduct concept competitions to secure customer orders.
• Define project scope, budget, and manage all internal and customer‑driven changes.
• Apply Design‑to‑Cost methodology and lead cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Prepare and submit CAA and IAR documents, and coordinate governance reporting.
• Maintain communication with customers, update them on project progress, and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Promote Valeo values, ethics, health, safety, and environmental standards across the project team.

• Strong ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and drive project milestones.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and capability to handle escalations effectively.
