Purchase to Pay Manager

About the role

As a Purchase to Pay Manager based in Mexico City, you will lead a team of ten professionals responsible for the accounts payable function across several LATAM countries, including Argentina, Colombia, and Panama. You will play a strategic part in L’Oréal’s financial operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with the company’s transformation agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Guide, develop and motivate a high‑performing team handling roughly 280,000 invoices annually across 17 legal entities.
• Oversee end‑to‑end purchase‑to‑pay activities, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders in multiple countries, using strong negotiation and communication skills to resolve conflicts and maintain relationships.
• Identify automation opportunities, design process improvements, and create dashboards and KPIs to monitor service performance.

Required profile

• Extensive finance background with proven expertise in accounting and the purchase‑to‑pay process.
• Demonstrated success leading and developing teams in a multicultural, multi‑country environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation abilities.
• Forward‑thinking mindset focused on automation, continuous improvement and data‑driven decision making.
• Advanced proficiency in both English and Spanish.
