Purchasing Specialist

About the role

Charger Logistics Inc. is seeking a motivated Purchasing Specialist to join its Queretaro office. You will be responsible for driving cost‑saving initiatives, managing supplier relationships, and supporting indirect procurement activities across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze spending patterns, user profiles, and market trends to uncover cost‑saving opportunities.
• Conduct supplier research, manage RFI processes, and evaluate market competitiveness.
• Develop evaluation criteria, issue RFQs for low‑impact categories, and lead supplier selection.
• Negotiate terms, execute procurement strategies, and ensure compliance with corporate policies.
• Oversee contract administration, maintain documentation, and monitor delivery performance.
• Serve as the primary contact for internal stakeholders requiring indirect purchasing services.
• Track and report savings, maintain the supplier database, and complete risk evaluations.
• Define and monitor procurement KPIs and contribute to team development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in indirect procurement or purchasing.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication abilities.
• Experience with contract management and supplier evaluation.
• Familiarity with the transportation or logistics industry is a plus.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment and fluency in English.
