Python Software Engineer

About the role

Belvo is looking for a Python Software Engineer to join its data integration team. You will help build and maintain services that connect fintech innovators with financial and non‑financial institutions across Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain connections to financial and non‑financial institutions to retrieve, process, and store data.
• Normalize heterogeneous data formats into consistent API endpoints.
• Reverse‑engineer complex anti‑bot solutions alongside senior engineers.
• Design and implement a large‑scale data extraction platform.
• Deliver value using an asynchronous, multi‑service architecture.
• Apply top security practices in a highly regulated environment.
• Shape and ship new solutions from scratch, exploring new technologies.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience working in cross‑functional, autonomous teams.
• Comfortable with remote‑friendly, collaborative work environments.
