QA/SDET – Automation Engineer (Payroll Integrations)

About the role

We are looking for a problem‑solving QA Automation / Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our tech team, focusing on payroll integrations. The role is agile and centered on improving software quality through code, working closely with the tech lead and product managers.

Key responsibilities

• Test integrations with external third‑party systems.
• Build comprehensive integration tests for APIs.
• Develop and maintain mock services for API testing.
• Define acceptance criteria and implement new test scenarios.
• Operate within a Docker and Jenkins‑based QA infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure product quality.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software testing experience in an automated environment.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a passion for learning.
• Enthusiasm for driving product quality through test automation.

Required skills

• Python (strong coding experience).
• API testing and integration test development.
• Mock services creation and maintenance.
• Test automation based on acceptance criteria.
• Experience with CI tools such as Docker and Jenkins.
• Understanding of ticketing and CI systems.
• SQL database knowledge.
• Advanced RESTful API expertise.
