Quality Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to drive continuous improvement of our Quality Management System and product quality architecture. The role ensures compliance with internal and external specifications, collaborates with engineering and manufacturing, and supports the plant’s performance‑excellence initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, modify and maintain quality evaluation and control systems for material and product processing.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to embed quality standards throughout the production flow.
• Design and implement inspection, testing and statistical analysis procedures to assess product precision and equipment performance.
• Audit quality systems, identify deficiencies and lead corrective actions that meet reliability standards.
• Support Six‑Sigma project portfolio, coach teams on methodology selection (DMAIC, Lean, Design) and advise management on quality tools.
• Provide guidance on design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation, reliability and inventory control as they relate to quality.

Required profile

• B.S. or equivalent technical degree in engineering, manufacturing or a related field.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering results in a technical environment.
• Experience working on project teams, with exposure to shift supervision or team leadership preferred.
• Familiarity with manufacturing and engineering learning pathways.
• Desirable experience includes summer internships, progressive quality or process‑engineering roles, and project‑team leadership.
