Quality Engineer

About the role

The Quality Engineer drives continuous improvement of the Quality Management System and product quality architecture. This role ensures compliance with internal and external specifications, supporting engineering and manufacturing functions to maintain high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, modify, apply and maintain quality evaluation and control systems for processing materials into finished products.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to embed quality standards throughout production.
• Design and implement inspection, testing, and evaluation methods for product precision and equipment accuracy.
• Conduct statistical analysis to assess cost and responsibility for non‑conforming products.
• Audit quality systems, identify deficiencies, and drive corrective actions that meet reliability standards.
• Support unit Performance Excellence projects, applying Six‑Sigma, DMAIC, Lean, and Design methodologies.
• Coach managers and belts on project selection, implementation, and use of quality tools.

Required profile

• B.S. or equivalent technical degree.
• Proven track record of delivering results in a technical environment.
• Experience working on project teams and delivering quality‑focused outcomes.
• Desire to grow in quality engineering, process improvement, or related fields.

• Lean Six Sigma methodology knowledge.
• Statistical analysis for quality assessment.
