Quality Manager

About the role

Flowserve is seeking an engaged Quality Manager to lead the Quality Group at a manufacturing site. The role focuses on driving continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, and high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate customer, regulatory and organizational requirements to site leadership.
• Manage the QA team and Manufacturing Indirect QC team, balancing quality targets with operational throughput.
• Oversee documentation and implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) to meet ISO and corporate standards.
• Coordinate internal, customer and third‑party audits, including on‑site and remote surveys.
• Approve business system access requests and conduct annual access audits.
• Maintain the corrective action system, analyze non‑conformances and drive root‑cause resolutions.
• Implement performance measurements and use Lean/CI tools to improve product quality and cost of quality.
• Develop supplier qualification processes in line with ISO 9001 standards.
• Lead the Material Review Board process and champion QMS implementation at the site level.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality leadership and managing a quality team.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ASME, NUPIC, AS9100 and related industry standards.
• Ability to travel 10‑15% of the time, potentially internationally.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (BS or BA).
