Recruiter – Talent Acquisition for Insurance Agency

About the role

The Recruiter will manage the full recruitment lifecycle for an insurance agency, partnering with hiring managers to attract and hire high‑quality talent. This position ensures a positive candidate experience while supporting the organization’s staffing goals.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute recruiting systems as directed by management.
• Administer the agent referral program.
• Track and document recruiting activities using designated systems.
• Screen, interview, and assess agent candidates using company‑approved methods.
• Build and maintain networking sources and centers of influence.
• Participate in career fairs, seminars, and professional organizations.
• Implement passive recruiting strategies, including internet sourcing, job boards, and cold calling.
• Recommend improvements to recruiting and selection processes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum of one (1) year of recruiting experience.
• Understanding of compensation fundamentals and labor market knowledge.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English proficiency.

Required skills

• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) – 1 to 3 years.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel – 1 to 3 years.
