Refractive Surgical Sales Specialist – Capital Equipment

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Refractive Surgical Sales Specialist to drive growth of high‑value refractive technologies across Mexico. This consultative position partners with ophthalmic surgeons, clinics, and key opinion leaders to position advanced surgical solutions and deliver measurable business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with ophthalmologists, clinics, and key opinion leaders to understand clinical and business needs.
• Drive sales of capital equipment and refractive surgical platforms, manage complex negotiations, and achieve territory targets.
• Analyze territory performance, customer data, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
• Travel nationwide to support customers, conduct product demonstrations, and close new business.
• Collaborate with internal technical and commercial teams to ensure successful implementation, training, and ongoing customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Optometry, or a related field (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in medical device, capital equipment, or consultative B2B sales.
• Proven track record in negotiating and closing complex deals with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze data and respond to market dynamics.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
