Regional Controller – Manufacturing (Mexico)

About the role

The Regional Controller will act as the financial leader for all fabrication facilities in Mexico, reporting to the VP of Finance for Fabrication. This senior position partners with site and regional operations teams to drive financial performance, cost efficiency, and strategic planning.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and long‑range strategic planning for the regional fabrication segment.
• Provide timely financial analysis on KPIs, operational variances, CapEx, and product line profitability.
• Ensure accurate, compliant reporting under US GAAP and SOX, managing monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to protect assets and meet corporate policies.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities, efficiency improvements, and process optimizations with operations teams.
• Develop and mentor site‑level finance teams, fostering cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, supply chain, and operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA, CMA or equivalent highly preferred.
• 10‑12 years of progressive financial management experience, including 5‑7 years as a Controller or senior finance leader in a multi‑plant manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience working for a multinational company operating in Mexico.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
