Remote Family Law Paralegal (California)

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized Remote Family Law Paralegal to support our California‑based legal team in litigation, discovery and trial preparation. The role is full‑time, Monday‑Friday, and requires hands‑on experience with California family or civil law.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, prepare and file pleadings, motions, declarations, subpoenas and other discovery documents.
• Manage all phases of discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, admissions and subpoenas.
• Organize and maintain case files, exhibits and supporting documentation.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, mediation, hearings and overall case management.
• Review discovery responses, identify deficiencies and coordinate client communications.
• Calendar court deadlines, hearings and discovery timelines accurately.
• Prepare filings through California e‑filing systems while maintaining confidentiality.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years recent experience in California Family Law or Civil Law.
• Strong background in handling discovery for family or civil litigation.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
