Remote Phoenix Developer (Elixir)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Phoenix Developer to join our fully remote team. You will use functional programming principles to build high‑performance, concurrent backend systems that power real‑time web applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services with Elixir and the Phoenix framework.
• Implement efficient data layers, manage migrations, and interact with PostgreSQL using Ecto.
• Create interactive, real‑time features using Phoenix LiveView.
• Build fault‑tolerant distributed systems employing OTP patterns and GenServers.
• Maintain high code quality and system performance through best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of software engineering experience focused on functional programming.
• Proven expertise building real‑time, concurrent backends with Elixir and Phoenix.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling with Ecto and PostgreSQL.
• Deep understanding of OTP, GenServers, and distributed system design on the BEAM VM.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
