Robotics Service Sales Specialist - North Region

About the role

This position sits within ABB's Robotics business, which is preparing for its acquisition by SoftBank Group, and contributes to the Robotics Service area in Mexico. The role reports to the Service Sales Manager and focuses on driving service sales, generating new service opportunities and securing profitable sales in the assigned areas, with a hybrid work model.

Key responsibilities

• Penetrate the installed base by promoting upgrades, retrofits and value-added solutions that benefit customers and ABB
• Understand channel strategy, set related pricing, prepare sales plans, review performance and propose recovery plans when needed
• Generate service sales leads and develop new market opportunities by analysing market trends and identifying potential new service offerings
• Act as marketer and salesperson for ABB's service products and solutions during campaigns, trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences and customer meetings

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in technical service sales, preferably in automation and/or robotics
• Knowledge of the automotive market and general industry
• Advanced English
• Willingness to travel
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering
