Safety and Security Manager – Mexico

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Safety and Security Manager to lead safety, loss prevention, and security initiatives across our distribution warehouses and delivery sites throughout Mexico. The role ensures compliance with local regulations and drives a culture of safety throughout the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage safety and loss‑prevention programs for NSC distribution warehouses and LMS delivery sites.
• Ensure compliance with Mexican safety, fire protection, and warehousing laws.
• Develop and implement the company’s safety management system, covering mechanical, electrical, and construction safety.
• Organise safety training, conduct emergency drills, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions.
• Supervise the security team and perform regular inspections of all facilities.
• Travel occasionally within Mexico to support safety management at various sites.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (flexible for outstanding candidates).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in safety management or loss prevention in warehouses, logistics or distribution centers.
• Fluent Spanish with working proficiency in English or Chinese.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican safety, fire, labor, and warehousing regulations.
• Ability to identify risks, manage emergency response, and lead teams under pressure.
