About the role
Join Vonage as a Sales Development Representative focused on API and CPaaS solutions. You will be the first point of contact for prospective enterprise customers, creating and qualifying new sales opportunities and scheduling meetings for the Account Management team.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, video calls, email, LinkedIn and other channels.
- Research and uncover new leads using internet research, social media monitoring, LinkedIn Navigator and sales tools.
- Qualify prospects based on deep knowledge of Vonage’s API product suite.
- Maintain detailed activity notes in the CRM system.
- Schedule qualified demos and meetings for Enterprise Account Managers.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales leadership and account managers to improve performance.
- Achieve monthly targets for qualified appointments and new sales opportunities.
- Develop and follow a territory plan with assigned geography.
Required profile
- 2+ years of sales development, lead generation or B2B sales experience, preferably in software.
- Professional written and spoken English.
- Strong cold‑calling and personalized email outreach abilities.
- Self‑motivated, organized and able to work independently.
Required skills
- Familiarity with Vonage API platform and related communication services.
- Experience using LinkedIn Navigator for prospecting.
- Proficiency with CRM systems for activity tracking.
