Sales Development Representative – API/CPaaS

About the role

As a Sales Development Representative you will be the first point of contact for potential customers interested in Vonage’s Communications APIs. You will help generate pipeline and qualify opportunities within the Network Powered Solutions market, focusing on telecom operators and service providers in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, video calls, email, LinkedIn and other channels.
• Research and uncover new leads using internet research, social media monitoring and LinkedIn Navigator.
• Maintain detailed notes and activity records in the CRM system.
• Articulate the value of Vonage’s API portfolio (SMS/Messaging, Voice, Video, Authentication) to network operators and service providers.
• Schedule qualified meetings and demos for Account Managers.
• Collaborate with marketing, account managers and sales leadership to improve performance.
• Achieve monthly targets for qualified appointments and new sales opportunities.
• Develop and maintain a territory plan with Account Managers for the assigned geography.

Required profile

• Interest in B2B technology sales and the telecom ecosystem.
• Strong communication and research skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.

Required skills

• LinkedIn Navigator
• CRM (experience logging detailed activity)
• Understanding of API products (SMS/Messaging, Voice, Video, Authentication)
