Sales Development Representative (Healthcare Vertical)

About the role

Vonage is looking for a Sales Development Representative to focus on the Healthcare vertical. You will be the first point of contact for prospective customers, creating and qualifying new sales opportunities for the Video API product suite.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outbound prospecting through phone, video calls, email, LinkedIn and other channels.
• Research and identify new leads using internet research, social media monitoring and tools such as LinkedIn Navigator.
• Qualify prospects based on a deep understanding of Vonage Video API capabilities.
• Schedule qualified meetings and demos for Healthcare‑focused Account Managers.
• Maintain detailed notes and activity records in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with marketing, account managers and sales leadership to improve performance.
• Achieve monthly targets for qualified appointments and new sales opportunities.
• Develop and maintain a territory plan with assigned Account Managers.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of sales development, lead generation or B2B sales experience, preferably in software.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Strong cold‑calling ability and experience crafting personalized outreach emails.
• Self‑motivated, organized and able to work independently.
