Sales Representative – Export (Panama)

About the role

The Sales Representative – Export (Panama) will drive Mattel's growth in Panama by managing distributor and retail accounts, coordinating export operations from China, and meeting sales targets for core brands such as Barbie, Hot Wheels, and Fisher‑Price. This position blends commercial execution with strategic account management to expand market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow the portfolio of distributor and retail accounts in Panama to achieve sustainable sales growth.
• Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets across Mattel’s core brands.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts and demand plans in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and Incoterms with customers.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end export processes from China, ensuring timely and compliant delivery.
• Generate and present sales reports, KPIs, and performance analyses to management.
• Collaborate with marketing, logistics, and certification teams for product launches and in‑store activations.
• Resolve operational and logistical issues proactively to maintain customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a commercial or consumer‑focused role.
• Proven ability to manage large datasets, create reports, and perform sales and forecasting analysis.
• Understanding of Incoterms and basic logistics coordination for export operations.
• Strong negotiation skills backed by data‑driven decision making.
• Familiarity with the toy category and key brand drivers (e.g., Barbie, Hot Wheels, Fisher‑Price).
